This tutorial is an interesting one – the animations for the front and back of the card are easy to create but the real trick is in faking the 3D card turn. There’s a lot of incredibly useful tricks along the way in this one, such as how to do a frame-by-frame artwork reveal, using clipping and layer masks, faking depth of field and ‘sequencing’ together video files and using Dreams like a video editor.
We’ve included all the Dreams files you need for each of the two main steps – start and complete versions so you can follow along or simply check out the finished animation file. We’ve also included a guide PDF to get you up and running with the files quickly, plus a bonus video particle texture to add extra interest to your animation!
